CBS TOP 100 2007

Another year, another mighty CBS TOP 100 !

It’s available here:
- CBS TOP 100 2007 (via cbs.nu)

Since the TOP 100 is available as 10 big mp3 files this year (which means no track titles and no position information), I’ve put together .cue files for it:
- CBS TOP 100 2007 .cue files

You can either:

- use the cue files as playlists. In order to do that just put them in the same directory as the TOP 100 mp3s, and open the cue files instead of the mp3. You’ll be able to check track titles, browse, skip, etc. as if each track was a separated file.
As far as I know you either need Winamp + CUE Player plugin or Foobar2000 (no plugin needed) to play cue files. They’re not supported by Itunes or VLC.

- use the cue files to split the large mp3s into separated tracks. Again, just put the cue in the same directory as the TOP 100 mp3s and just run the included “split.bat” batch.

Rob ‘n’ Zoopsie – Dancing like a gun in a ray of sound

Electronix — 1 December 2007

Just wanted to point out two hard rocking Rob ‘n’ Zoopsie mixes I completely overlooked:

- Rob ‘n’ Zoopsie – Dancing like a gun in a ray of sound v1.0 (2006)
- Rob ‘n’ Zoopsie – Dancing like a gun in a ray of sound v2.0 (2007)

Part 1 looks like a regular mp3 file, but it actually transforms into a giant disco spaceship from the future when played.

I must confess I am a Rob ‘n’ Zoopsie fan. Their mixes have some kind of raw energetic vibe that really works for me.

Update: These are no longer available, but there are lots of other Rob ‘n’ Zoopsie’s mixes at robotdj.net. Check them out.
